THE ISSUE
Running for Toronto City Council has made me realize that politics should be about service, not self-preservation. It’s frustrating to watch how incumbent councillors leverage their positions of power to maintain their seats, often at the expense of fresh ideas and innovation.
This practice stifles the potential for change and deprives Toronto residents of diverse perspectives that could significantly enhance our city’s governance.
